In remarks to the meeting, First Lady Erdoğan expressed her pleasure to be coming together with the Zero Waste Advisory Board members on the day when the first signatures were put on the Declaration of Goodwill for ‘Global Commitment to Zero Waste’ under her patronage.
First Lady Erdoğan stated that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has always supported the Zero Waste Movement, with his leadership playing a critical role in the success of the Zero Waste project.
Sustainable consumption habits, recycling, and national zero waste initiatives were discussed during the event.
Praising the distance Türkiye has covered in zero waste, the board members thanked First Lady Erdoğan for hosting the event.
