Accompanying First Lady Erdoğan during her visit were Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum, High Representative of the United Nations for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States Rabab Fatima, UN Assistant Secretary-General Ligia Noronha, members of the UN Advisory Board on Zero Waste, fashion designers and representatives of diplomatic missions.
The Zero Waste exhibition opened at the United Nations Headquarters with the message “There is Enough!” serves as a call for solution.
Based on the main theme of the March 30th International Day of Zero, “Towards Zero Waste in Fashion and Textiles”, the exhibition aims to raise awareness about Zero Waste.
