First Lady Emine Erdoğan received United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Policy Guy Bernard Ryder, who is in Istanbul for the “World Cities Day”, at Topkapı Palace.
First Lady Erdoğan and UN Under-Secretary-General for Policy Ryder exchanged views on zero waste at the meeting.
Under-Secretary-General for Policy Ryder conveyed UN Secretary-General António Guterres’ greetings to Mrs. Erdoğan, who, in turn, thanked UN Secretary-General Guterres for his strong stance on the Palestinian issue, and extended her and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s greetings to him.
